EISLER _ It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected death of Robert (Terry) Eisler on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the age of 61 years. Terry was predeceased by his father Robert R. Eisler. He is survived by his mother Mary Eisler; wife Lee Eisler; son Robert S. Eisler (Kathleen); sister Marilyn Paller (David); brother Dale Eisler (Louise); sisters-inlaw, Pat Dutchak (Ron), Meg Millar (Lorne) and brother-in-law Norm Henderson (Elaine); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Terry was a friend to everyone he met and lived a life guided by loyalty, friendship, and honesty. He was a kind, thoughtful and gentle person whose humanity touched countless people, from the under privileged kids he helped as a teacher to his family and many friends. As a husband and father, he was a soul-mate, an inspiration and a guiding light of integrity to Lee and Rob. As a son and brother, his kindness and decency made us proud. The world was a better place because of Terry and those who knew and loved him are thankful to have called him son, dad, husband, brother and friend. He enriched all our lives. A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. in Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street. Flowers most gratefully declined.
